Chiptuning from bhp motorsport – Now with CVN matching for all VAG, Porsche and BMW vehicles

From now on, the CVN code for all BMW, Porsche, Audi, Seat, Skoda and Volkswagen modelsequipped with the Bosch EDC17 and MED17 ECUs will be automatically calculated for every software optimization. The Alientech programming tools automatically calculate it before each write. CVN is an abbreviation for „confirmation of calibration number“ so to speak, the CVN code is the checksum of the calibration inside the ECU. This CV number has changed so far after each chip tuning. However, this was not relevant to anyone. However, if this number is not correct, the control unit will recently issue an error with TÜV query or manufacturer service.

By comparing the CV number, it is possible to check whether the calibration of the tuning software in the engine control unit matches the original of the manufacturer. With a professional characteristic field optimization, the matching of the CVN should no longer be a problem from today.

From now on, the CVN matching is included with every bhp motorsport chip tuning.

For existing customers, we are happy to make subsequent comparisons cost-effectively.
