Chiptuning for the Seat Leon III 5F Cupra 2.0Turbo

The top engine of the Seat Leon is the Cupra. Equipped with a 2.0-litre turbo engine and between 280 and 300 hp, one should think it is strong enough – but the Seat drivers disagree. That’s why many people opt for an increase in performance through chip tuning from bhp© motorsport. The engine has enough reserves to achieve an output of approx. 350 hp already in stage 1. The torque increases in this version to approx. 470 – 480Nm. For level 1, the software of the DSG transmission has not yet been adapted. The maximum speed limit of the Seat Leon Cupra is also raised by chip tuning – this allows speeds of up to 280km/h depending on the performance level. The driving dynamics are fundamentally changing. Above all, the pass-through values improve and make the Seat Cupras the dreaded opponent on country roads. High torque is already available from the speed cellar, and the power in the upper speed range is breathtaking. An understatement racer of a special kind. Even long-established sports cars bite their teeth at this compact athlete.

Of course, theexperts at bhp© have made sure that the ability to use everyday life and the longevity are not affected by chip tuning. The chip tuning software has been extensively tested and tested on bhp© motorsport’s in-house performance test bench. For this reason, customers are welcome to purchase a TÜV certificate and an engine warranty at an additional cost. This gives the chiptuning customer a safe feeling of having purchased a reputable tuning product.

Unfortunately, the competition advertises with performance values of fast over 400hp. However, this is not feasible with realistic performance measurements with the original turbocharger. Bhp motorsport has tested various vehicles with foreign software and found that almost all of them were below the tuner’s performance. We do not share this philosophy of excessively high performance specifications, but place more emphasis on honesty with our customers.

For our customers with a special desire for additional performance, we offer different levels of performance:

 

 

Tuning Level 1 for Seat Leon Cupra 5F: Chiptuning from bhp motorsport including V-Max suspension + K&N sports air filter performance target: approx. 350hp and 480Nm.

Tuning Level 2 for Seat Leon Cupra 5F: Stage 2 chip tuning by optimizing the field of knowledge of bhp motorsport, software adjustment of the DSG transmission for faster switching times, increase of the pump pressure (higher transmission torque of the clutch) and various special functions, charge air cooler from HG-Motorsport, downpipe 200 cells from HG-Motorsport, suction from HG Motorsport, optional: exhaust system from Remus. Performance target: approx. 370hp and 500Nm

Tuning Level 3 for Seat Leon Cupra 5F: Due to the high demand for maximum performance, we now also offer services to over 400 – 450hp. In addition to stage 2, a modified turbocharger, spark plugs, and an adapted DSG software are also used. On request and for particularly high torque, a reinforced DSG coupling can be used.
