The Porsche Macan is the smaller brother of the Porsche Cayenne, but is preferred from a sporty point of view, as it is lighter, more handy and therefore more agile. Unfortunately, however, it was kept at a distance from the Cayenne with regard to the engine. This is precisely why many drivers of a Porsche Macan want to improve performance. Luckily, Porsche gave the engines enough leeway, so that a significant additional performance can be achievable with a chip tuning.
Bhp motorsport has been working on the new engines since the release of the Macan. At that time, these were equipped with additional electronics for the transition. For several months now, however, the engine control units of the Porsche Macan can be equipped directly with real chip tuning by a characteristic field optimization. The advantage is that not only 1-2 sensors can be controlled as with a tuning box, but that all motor characteristics stored by the developer can be processed. This creates significantly more opportunities that can be Bhp motorsport can be transformed into a little more power.
The vehicles are tested at bhp motorsport on the in-house dynamometer and with the help of which the ideal tuning software is developed. Here, special attention is always paid to the harmony between the increase in performance and the function of transmission and all-wheel drive control.
Chip tuning is programmed in such a way that the suitability for everyday use and durability are not affected as much as possible. bhp motorsport can also offer a TÜV certificate and a warranty for engine/gearbox for the performance enhancement through chip tuning (additional charge). Thus, engine tuning is also possible for the safety-loving customers.
